Congratulations to OLG’s Group Financial Controller, Jo Fox on completing the Orsted Great Grimsby 10km 2022 event.
The Great Grimsby 10k is in its 7th Year and took place on Sunday 5th June from the iconic Great Grimsby Town Hall. The route catered for all running abilities, from the seasoned club runner to the newbie runners who love the camaraderie around the fantastic route.
Jo completed the course in 1 hour and 16 minutes (her personal best to date).
She said, “I decided to try for it after being poorly last year and gave myself the challenge. It was my first ever race so I was really pleased with the outcome. It was a really wet day but that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits and loads of people came out to support which was so kind as it wasn’t very warm for them. It was so well organised; Tape 2 Tape did a great job. I’ll be back again next year.”
This year’s race was in support of the following charities in which £1 from every entry went towards.
