We’re delighted to welcome Neil Kirby back to OLG as our Mechanical Head of Department.
Neil rejoined the business in August, having previously worked with OLG as a Principal Pipe Designer between November 2022 and July 2023, and as a Senior Piping Designer from January 2014 to April 2021. His return brings a wealth of experience, technical expertise, and industry knowledge to our engineering team.
In his new role, Neil is responsible for coordinating departmental piping, stress design and engineering activities, overseeing quotations, approving technical outputs, liaising with clients, and ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering disciplines.
Speaking about his return, Neil said:
“It has been a welcome return to OLG. Familiar faces with known and reassuring competence in what they do. A robust structure of working and methods in place for checking and approving. Fabulous, upgraded office space and a pleasure to work in.”
He also added:
“There have been a number of recent changes at OLG of which I am part, but it feels like there is an energy around the changes which are positive to the business.”
We are thrilled to have Neil back on board as we continue to grow and strengthen our engineering capabilities.
