23-year-old Adam Stevens joins the company today as an EC&I Draughtman after working for OLG since September 2023 as a Contractor. Prior to that, Adam spent the previous few years as an Electrician in the industrial and commercial industries. Most of his time has been spent in food factory environments, although he has also worked at places such as the Mercedes F1 Factory and Biogas plants to highlight a couple.
Whilst at OLG Adam role will involve constructing drawings, sketches and diagrams using software such as CAD. He will also put together documents like data sheets, cable schedules, drawing and document registers just to name a few.
Adam lives in Cleethorpes with his parents and in his spare time he enjoys participating in fitness related activities such as running, biking, walking and strength training. He also enjoys camping in places such as the Peak and Lake District where he hikes to the top of mountains and often discovers wild infinity pools along the way that he enjoys going in. He has a passion for football and plays for a local team as well as holding a season ticket for Grimsby Town. Adam said, “I have strong interests in self-development, fitness, health and reading books. A favourite book of mine is “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins.”
Adam said, “Joining OLG is exciting for me as it’s a totally different environment compared to what I have been used to, but I feel I have settled in well. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future will bring for me here as I have a large vision in what I would like to achieve both for myself and OLG.”
