OLG would like to wish a warm welcome to Stuart Murray!
Stress Section Lead Stuart joined the company on 2nd April 2024, but it’s not his first time working for OLG. He previously worked for the company between 2013 and 2021 as Stress Section Lead before moving to Worley, where he worked as a Principal Mechanical Engineer from August 2021 to March 2024. At Worley, much of his time was spent helping INEOS at Saltend with two major Hydrogen Projects.
Based at On Line House in Immingham, 44-year-old Stuart’s role will see him leading the Pipe Stress and Vessel Design Team.
Stuart lives with his wife Louisa and three children, Elijah (12), Eska (9) and Estrid (4) in the village of North Kelsey, Lincolnshire. In his spare time, he enjoys long distance walking, boxing, football and music.
Stuart said, “After meeting with Lawrence at the end of February and discussing the direction in which OLG is moving, I am now thrilled to be part of that journey and it was great to see so many familiar faces during my first day back. I learned a lot during my three years away. One of which been, the quality of the Engineers OLG employs and produces. The future is very bright”
