Piping Design Draughtsman, Mark Collinson is due to ‘semi-retire’ after serving 9 years with OLG Engineering.
His last day with the company working full-time will be on 16th June 2022, and he will take the rest of the month off to relax before returning part-time on 5th July 2022.
65-year-old Mark, who is based at OLG’s Head Office on Pelham Road in Immingham, has been with the company since May 2013.
Mark lives in Dunsville, Doncaster with his wife Beverley and along with playing the guitar his hobbies include photography. He has been a contributor of stock photography to Alamy since 2010, which he’s hoping to increase his portfolio with.
He said, “I have no immediate plans for retirement other than catching up on jobs at home (we extended the house in recent years and we’re still finishing off odd jobs with that) and doing the sort of leisure things we don’t currently find the time for, such as days out. We had a holiday in Costa Rica planned where we’ve previously visited but it was cancelled due to the pandemic, we’ll probably go back there when international travel gets back to normal. Mainly, I’ll just be taking life easier and try to enjoy retirement whilst I still have good health.”
