OLG is pleased to welcome Olivier Leroy, who started with the company in January 2024 as a contractor but is transferring to staff on 2nd September.
Olivier, aged 47 is a French citizen who has lived in the UK for all of his adult life after completing his Chemical Engineering studies. Although he is a qualified Chemical Engineer, Olivier has always worked in a project management role and his position at OLG is Senior Project Manager. He is looking forward to successfully delivering projects and hopefully, developing the Pharma and Biotech side of the business.
Prior to joining OLG, Olivier worked for Cytiva as a Principal Engineer responsible for providing biotech equipment and system solutions. One of his notable achievements includes playing a key role in supplying equipment for the production of the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID vaccine, which he describes as one of the busiest and most memorable periods of his career.
Olivier’s previous employers include the PM Group, GSK, Sanofi, Lonza and BPE where he worked for 6 years between 2008 and 2014. He lives in Hedge End, Southampton with his wife and 12-year-old daughter, Olivier enjoys practicing taekwondo with his family, aiming to achieve a black belt. He is also passionate about river and sea kayaking and is an avid wildlife enthusiast and birdwatcher since childhood. His love for nature extends to gardening, and he even enjoys playing music for his plants, a hobby he has shared with colleagues at the Colden Common office.
