Lawrence has over 28 years experience in engineering, project delivery and executive leadership. Having served a traditional 4 year indentured apprenticeship he progressed into a design office whilst undertaking a part time degree. Lawrence developed into design management and subsequently both project management and construction management, undertaking the delivery of multiple discipline, design and build projects across rail and heavy industrial industries.
Projects included a cutting-edge rail operating centre in Sussex, a Biomass rail unloading and storage facility at a UK coal fired power station and the construction and plant integration of Europe’s largest ‘dry-seal wiggins’ gasholder. In addition, he has worked in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and chemical industries, undertaking roles as both client and contractor.
Over the past 5 years Lawrence successfully developed and ran the PMO for a UK based European offshore wind vessel and service provider before stepping up to become Managing Director. The business was successfully sold in 2023 and Lawrence undertook his current role with OLG as Engineering Director.
