OLG Engineering are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Foreman as a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer.
42-year-old Andrew first joined the company back in 2000 as a Trainee Draughtsman after serving an apprenticeship as a Plater. He later went on to complete a BSc in Civil Engineering at Leeds Metropolitan University after 5 years of part time study, before leaving to broaden his experience at WoodGroup, Centrica, Fabricom and Spencer Group working in a range of sectors including Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy, Infrastructure and Nuclear.
After returning to OLG Engineering in April this year, Andrew has settled back in and is now responsible for the production of design calculations, reports and specifications whilst providing general technical assistance to the project teams.
He said, “I am pleased to be back at OLG Engineering – there are some new faces, and a few less of the old familiar faces but that is inevitable. I have settled in as if I’ve never been away, and I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings here at OLG. I also have the pleasure of helping to develop our younger talent and to pass on the valuable knowledge I gained since working with past OLG legends.”
Andrew lives with his partner Melodie and two stepsons (when they are around) and enjoys running, cycling and the gym as well as playing the guitar, drums, and other instruments (for his own entertainment only!)
From everyone at OLG, it’s good to have you back Andrew!
