OLG Engineering are pleased to announce the appointment of Nikki Randles as a Senior Civil Designer. Nikki’s father Colin was one of the original shareholders of On Line Design & Engineering in 1982, although he did not join the company until 1984, and for many years until his retirement in March 2004, he managed the piping section.
44-year-old Nikki originally joined the company in June 2004 where he worked as a Civil Draughtsman and Civil Designer until December 2020 when he left to join the Spencer Group as a Senior Technician.
Having returned to OLG Engineering in June this year, Nikki is settling back in nicely and is now responsible for general civil design drafting work including producing layout drawings, details and RC schedules, site surveying duties, laser scanning and Total station surveys.
He said, “I’m very pleased to re-join OLG after a short spell away elsewhere. It’s a privilege to be part of a talented civil/structural team and I am looking forward to working on some of the exciting projects that I know are in the pipeline.”
Nikki lives in Barton-upon-Humber with his wife Caroline and two children (7-year-old Thomas and 4-year-old Annie), and his hobbies include walking and cycling (when time allows!)
