OLG Engineering are pleased to announce the appointment of 32-year-old Callum Smith as a Piping Designer.
After serving an apprenticeship as a pipefitter, Callum originally joined On Line as a piping draughtsman, working for Keith O’Reilly in the Hessle office in January 2012, where he worked until the end of 2017, and after a short spell with a local contractor, he then worked on P66 as a piping designer until August this year.
Having returned to OLG Engineering on 15th August this year, Callum is settling in well and is now responsible for liaising with Client’s personnel and carrying out piping and mechanical design.
He said, “I’m really excited to be recognised for what I can bring to OLG going forward, with my experience, knowledge, and work ethic. I’m enjoying being an asset to them and look forward to progressing my career further and finally complete my Degree at University.”
Callum lives in Grimsby with his wife Laura and two children, 9-year-old Leigha and 5-year-old Hayden. His hobbies include playing football when opportunity allows and spending time with his children and trying to keep them entertained.
Welcome back to the team Callum, from everyone at OLG Engineering!
