On Line Design and Engineering are pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Bell as QC Officer.
37 year old Simon joined the organisation at the end of March and is based at their Grimsby office. He will be primarily responsible for ensuring the output from our manufacturing workshops and works delivered on our construction sites are of the highest standard and strictly comply with the codes and standards required. Simon will also be responsible for front line Health & Safety for the Operational Team.
Simon has previously worked within the aerospace industry as well as holding positions within the rail, nuclear and gas sectors as a welding inspector/QC welding inspector.
Simon retired back in 2018 as a DJ, where he used to hold residencies at nightclubs and bars. His DJ’ing enabled him to travel to many places throughout Europe, including Benimussa Park, the biggest Open Air in Ibiza.
Away from work Simon lives in small village called Thurcroft in South Yorkshire, where he confesses to be a ‘gaming geek,’ enjoys the occasional trip to Ibiza and is an avid Manchester United fan with a season ticket at Old Trafford.
Simon said, “I am settling in well and everyone has been really nice and helpful.”
