As OLG Engineering close out the tank farm civils at our project in Basingstoke, with the final access ramps and fences being constructed, the production facility inside the existing building now has the bulk of the steel fixed for the new foundations and bunds, and concrete works are progressing well.
The fast-track design and build of the external works allowed OLG Engineering to take advantage of the summer weather, and then utilise some of those design details and specifications for the internal production facility works that followed.
This best use of the whole project team resources is one of the main advantages of the EPCm route that the client opted for, and just happens to be one that OLG excel in!
