OLG Invest in Print Management Solution

OLG is committed to better helping the environment by choosing the ‘MyQ’ print management solution. This is a centrally managed product which will speed up the administration of managing users and prints across our estate.

MyQ will help reduce our carbon footprint and put better practices in place to ensure the confidentiality of our prints by implementing a print job release system.

Once implemented, the user will send the print job to the MyQ server, it will then become available to all printers within the organisation and the user just needs to scan their door access swipe card on the nearest printer to release the print job.

The system will see all multifunction printer displays replaced with a more user-friendly interface with easier selection choices for scanning, job releases and choosing whether to copy in mono or colour.

The system will initially be rolled out to the Immingham and Grimsby sites first (Q4 2022/Q1 2023) with Colden Common and Daresbury been added in Q2 2024 once the current print copier contracts ends.
