Mark has been with the company since October 2012 when he was first appointed as a Procurement Officer. Throughout the growth of the organisation his role has developed to become OLG Engineering’s Section Leader Project Support Group.
Based at the Pelham Road office in Immingham, 48-year-old Mark is responsible for all aspects of Project Support including, Estimating, Cost Control, Planning and Project Controls, Procurement, Document Control etc.
Despite being a proud Yorkshireman, Mark lives in Barton with his fiancé Vicky. He is a proud father to 17-year-old twins, Isobel and Jacob who are both at college, Wyke and Bishop Burton respectively.
Mark said, “I am the assistant coach of an Under 17s football team and a long-suffering Hull City fan. During the summer months, I drive Vicky and the twins mad with my love of cricket, especially Yorkshire County Cricket Club and England. I also love concerts and live music events although my hobbies are mainly centred around football. My son Jacob plays for North Ferriby Development Team where he is kindly sponsored by OLG Engineering.”
Mark is due to turn 49 tomorrow, and by his own admission will no doubt be spent watching a 3-hour football training session. He does however have plans later in the week for a day in Leeds (and maybe a drink or two), followed by an Easter vacation to Valencia for a few nights to visit the in laws, who they haven’t seen for nearly 3 years due to the pandemic.
Happy Birthday Mark from the OLG Engineering Team!
