Chris has experience in process conception, development and FEED, detailed process engineering design, packaged equipment specification and selection, separation technologies, gas compression, gas dehydration and sweetening, process optimisation, energy minimisation and decarbonisation, operations readiness, process commissioning and start-up, process safety studies and risk management, and process simulation and modelling.
Chris also has 20 + years of experience working with process risk management and process safety.
His expertise includes process safety risk management, inherently safe design, major accident hazard studies, COMAH, Offshore Safety Cases, process safety studies (MAH, HAZID, HAZOP, PRR, ALARP), functional safety (SIL, LOPA, QRA), emergency shutdown system design and specification, and pressure relief and blowdown system modelling, specification and design.
Steve is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 35 years’ experience across a varied career in both client and consultant roles.
Working on of a variety of civil and structural engineering projects, undertaking feasibility studies, detailed design, project management and site supervision through to commissioning, post construction and ongoing maintenance.
In addition to design and project management, his roles have focused on safety and contractor management, the application of site rules, CDM Regulations and other applicable legislation, safe systems of work and undertaking and production of risk assessments and carrying out health and safety audits.
Typical project experience includes sewerage and drainage schemes, earthworks, foundations, industrial buildings, marine, flood alleviation, coastal defences and land drainage and asbestos removal and maintenance.
Quals: BSc (Hons), CEng, MICE, BOHS P405 & NEBOSH Construction Cert.
Phil has over 37 years of industrial experience.
With 12 years in maintenance and heavy engineering management, followed by 25 years in design, analysis, and leadership, Phil excels at adapting to emergent situations and leading teams to effective solutions.
Specialising in pipe stress analysis and pressure vessel design, Phil has supported clients with Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments and delivered both brownfield and greenfield projects. His expertise includes large diameter pipework, dynamic loading, and Finite Element (FE) analysis of attachments, equipment, and nozzles.
Phil has led multidiscipline teams in industries such as Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Onshore/Offshore, and Waste-to-Energy, delivering studies through to design and construction support. He emphasises accurate scope definition, resource planning, and clear communication.
He has over 25 years of industrial experience in the Utilities, Wastewater, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Power and Nuclear sectors.
Stuart is a Principal/Mechanical/Piping/Stress Engineer currently working in a lead role as part of the OLG team. Technical expertise includes Pipe Stress Analysis and Vessel Design on New Installations and Brownfield sites. As well as departmental management and lead activities he has lead Piping/Stress Teams on numerous specific multi-discipline projects.
His attitude and spirit of togetherness generates a level of trust within his teams but also enables him to expect and request focus and demand a hard-working ethos to enable successful outcomes and client satisfaction. His excellent communication skills, approachable demeanour and exposure throughout various sectors has enabled him to build and forge excellent relationships and contacts with clients.
Lawrence has over 28 years experience in engineering, project delivery and executive leadership.
Lawrence completed a 4-year apprenticeship before advancing into design and management roles while pursuing a part-time degree. He managed multidisciplinary projects in rail and heavy industry, including a rail operating centre in Sussex, a biomass unloading facility, and Europe’s largest ‘dry-seal wiggins’ gasholder. He also worked in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical sectors in both client and contractor roles.
Over the past five years, Lawrence established and led the PMO for a UK-based offshore wind service provider, becoming Managing Director before successfully selling the business in 2023. He now serves as Engineering Director at OLG.

John has expertise in pharmaceutical process tech transfer and scale up, project management for new facilities/equipment, refurbishments, and equipment upgrade projects, commissioning and qualification through the validation lifecycle (URS to PQ), process engineering covering equipment sizing, specification, vendor audit and equipment selection for pharmaceutical process equipment, utilities, control systems.
He has significant pharmaceutical operations experience including API, upstream/downstream biopharma, high containment, aseptic, engineering team management and asset, utilities and energy management, leading process improvements, Root Cause Investigations, compliance with GMP quality systems, and process safety using HAZOP and process risk assessment

Suzanne also has 30 + years of experience working with process risk management and process safety.
Suzanne has expertise in process safety risk management, inherently safe design, and major accident hazard studies including preparation and review of COMAH Safety Cases. She has led and supported various process safety studies (DSEAR, HAC, MAH, HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP, LOPA, SIL) and has experience in emergency response specification, testing and evaluation. She was a former Process Safety Specialist Inspector for HM Government Health & Safety Executive and has extensive knowledge of H&S Legislation.
15+ years working in Process engineering & design within the Nuclear industry.
He has experience in developing change over strategies from concept to detailed design, conducting optioneering studies in different stages of designs, performing heat, energy and mass balance calculations, sizing relief valves and vessels, preparing basis of design, plant and process descriptions, writing functional specs, datasheets and early warning notices, carrying out chemotoxic assessment, Hazop and safety review, and using HYSYS and PEL software.
