Engineering work experience

Here at OLG we are passionate about engineering and recognise the importance of promoting it as a career and for this reason we work closely with the local schools and colleges.

Each year we aim to provide engineering work experience for at least one young adult from secondary education, into each of our offices, in order to give them a taste of engineering and the various disciplines.

Our engineering work experience placements spend a full week working across the various departments in order to give them experience in the various engineering disciplines. In addition, we also take on one work experience placement in our Head Office in Immingham for individuals who may be interested in Business Administration, Finance or Information Technology.

We have a list of local schools that we partner with to provide work experience placements. However, if you are interested in undertaking work experience, please contact us.

Placements are offered subject to availability and priority will be given to students in the local area where possible.
