Project Overview:
Upscaling of a small-scale process to an industrial plant scale chemical process. OLG completed an initial study to determine if process was possible, before generating a concept design and carrying the design through to FEED. Due to our good working relation with the customer, this was carried through to EPCm post FEED completion. The Project involved extensive 3D Modelling work, developing a robust and flexible design, developing a bespoke control system philosophy and unique safety challenges due to the corrosive nature of the feed. £30M Capex project.
Scope of Work
- Design and specification of Chemical plant from Concept to FEED to EPCm.
- Equipment Specification and Procurement
- Process Development and Design, P&IDs PFDs, etc.
- Control System specification and design
- 3D modelling of equipment and pipe runs
- HAZOP and LOPA Safety Reviews
- Working with highly Corrosive feed.
- Principal Contractor and Designer under CDM coordinating all Construction Contractors
