On Line Support Personnel has achieved the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) after passing their Stage 2 audit and are now registered with ISOQAR who are UKAS accredited.
The ISO 27001 certification is considered the global gold standard in information security and outlines the best practices for an implemented, audited and managed information security management system.
It is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical, and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management process.
Chris Howell, Head of IT, Communications and Business Systems at On Line Group said,
“We are delighted to have been awarded with the 27001 certification, we have implemented a lot of auditable paperwork to back up the security processes in place. These processes provide measurables to allow robust monitoring of our systems and procedures, this will give our customers the confidence that not only digital IT assets are being securely managed but paper assets are too.”
